Remembering our first move,
On our first move back in 1985, we were greeted by our first customer with a look of total anguish as they described to us the daunting task of moving a monstrous 250 lb. sleep-sofa that was located on the fourth floor of a building that, of course, had no elevator, but did have a disgruntled landlord who stood watching over us “waiting & hoping” for us to damage his precious “Maple Over-the-Post Stairway”. This was a challenge we where prepared to handle. Not only did we move that massive beast of a sofa, we did it without a scratch to the staircase, leaving the landlord with nothing to complain about and our customer happy with a look of joy and astonishment.
